Miriam dated Real Ting for 2 and a half years. Recently they were being found out to have registered for marriage in U.S. Miriam admitted at the Solar Project event yesterday about this. RTHK specially prepared flowers for her and fetched her with red umbrella. Eason Chan, Alan Tam and Joey Yung congratulated her. Miriam's fans brought banners written "Support Miriam Yeung Mrs Ting Forever". Miriam thanked Andy Lau for leading this news to be exposed because she also wouldn't want to hide such good news. Reporters called Miriam Mrs Ting and she said sweetly, "It's better call me Miss Yeung. I'm still not used to the term Mrs Ting. We are living separately in our own house. Everything is still the same after we've got married. I think I'll only have the feeling of being married after the customary and banquet next year." During one night we went to play Mummy(an indoor ride in Universal Studios) and I sprained my neck. Then he told me, 'Chin Wah, you've said before, if heaven gives us 60 years to live, when we reach 30, it'll be a countdown of life. We should treasure each other more. Can I hold you and walk on with you?' I was very touched at that moment and agreed to his proposal on the spot. He drove me to Las Vegas immediately and it was already 1.30am. Because we were in a rush, we got into a jewellery shop to buy rings. In the end, mine was too loose and his was too tight. But I cried at the moment when he put on the ring for me."
