Miriam Yeung Demonstrating CPR in Jade Solid Gold Miriam was the guest for "Jade Solid Gold" and was asked to demonstrate first aid CPR in the show. She said that due to time limit and scared of exposing, her actions will not be very accurate. Demonstrating CPR in a music variety show had caused audience complaints that the show is lame. "Jade Solid Gold" changed it's contents to accomodate the summer holidays and arranged celebrities to demonstrate different sports in the show, like Andy Lau playing Tai Chi Swordplay with a few new singers. However this segment intending to inject freshness had been critisized as being lame and opposing a singing programme's nature. Miriam was interviewed after the show on why she didn't change when she had to do demonstration, "I was scared of exposing and the recording was only half an hour so I didn't have time to change clothes." St John Recue Team was present to oversee the process but because the demonstration only had 2mins, some steps were not very accurate. The lyrics of Andy Lau's new song "Most Popular Male Singer" had Miriam's name in it. Miriam haven't heard the song but thought her name's pronounciation was easily and perhaps that's why it was used in lyrics again. The line of the lyrics is about whether Miriam will thank Paco if she wins an award. Miriam answered, "Of course I will thank him. I will even thank Capital Artist."
