Miriam went to Mongkok for an autograph session of her new album "Actually I Have Been Happy" and attracted over hundred fans. Miriam has joined Amusic for 3 years plus and there have always een rumours of her and boss Leon Lai not being on good terms in work. And is rumoured to leave Leon's company to join sister company's East Asia Records, or even starting her own company under the support of big boss Lin Jianyue. Miriam is being asked about her record contract and she admitted she hasn't decide to renew or not, "There are different stages of work in life. I'll complete my work on hand then consider about where to go. Of course I hope my management and record company are under the same boss. The relation of artiste and manager is like a couple, having opinions and persistence in them. For example like marriage, mine has bloomed, hence the decision relies on how much sincerity and how deep is the relationship. My first consideration will be old company. Lin Jianyue is very supportive of me and takes care of me. Leon Lai has given me many new experience, thoughts and opinions in music these 3 years." Will her relationship will Leon bloom? Miriam didn't answer directly, "Depends on heaven! People used to think I can't get married. So depends on sincerity and opinions." East Asia Records has Sammi Cheng who's opening 10 concert shows during year end. If Miriam were to go over to East Asia Records, wouldn't she be afraid of fighting with Sammi? "I spent quite a bit of sincerity and effort in building my music foundation. My position has surpassed the record company's limits. Since Capital Artistes Era, I've been an individual, most importantly is to produce my own album. To have heart is the basic requirement!" Not afraid of comparison? "Have been compared for 10 years since I entered this line! If you don't compare us, I'll be more disappointed! Next year is my 15th year in this line. Whatever bad terms and gossips have been rumoured, just recycling subjects. Most importantly is the media can hand in their homework." Miriam has booked 50 tickets to Sammi's concert for friends but she's not sure if she'll have time to go watch. If Sammi invites her as guest, will she agree? "I wish so but depends on the company's arrangement." During the autograph session, one of the fans was sick and fainted. Security guards helped her into the CD shop and called police for help. Miriam helped to disperse the people in the shop so that the fan can get more fresh air. Was Miriam scared by it? She said, "I had been a nurse, used to seeing situations. Accidents often happen during filming but in an autograph session, it's the first time." She has asked for the fan's contact and will send her regards later on. Sources: Miriam Yeung Singapore Fanclub
