Mizuni Hung Mandy Chung Esther Lam Germain Lee Grace Cheng Candy Yuen Winnie Ma Carly Wong Sandy Lau Hilaire This year's Miss Hong Kong 2009 is for the sake of quality and not quantity, so the final contestants will be cut down to only 10 contestants. Yesterday the 10 finalist arrived in TVB City to attend internal meeting and will meet with TVB executive Virgina Lok. But, this year's finalist are not up to quality and are unexciting. Compared to the quality of Miss Chinese International, the Miss Hong Kong contestants this time really causes people to drop their glasses. Pirated Pauline Yam is only average Yesterday TVB arranged the Tiu Keng Leng Subway Station to pick up the 10 beauties and transport them into TVB City. Once the 10 finalist saw the Media, they were very generous and stood still to let Reporters take pictures, but when Reporters asked them questions they did not answer and ignored them. Among the 10 finalist there was one who looked like "Pirated Pauline Yam" - Ms. Sandy Lau was only average in looks, she only had a good body figure. She was full of self-confidence, constantly posing for the Reporters. Another finalist Germain Lee Gi Man also had acceptable quality, she expressed that she just finished studying Management in St. John's University. "Pirated Suki Chui" Grace Cheng appearance was quite acceptable as well. Pirated Chrissie Chau was dropped off in a luxurious car From Vanucover, Mizuni Hung not only had thick eyebrows, the hair around her lips was also quite thick. Esther Lam had big nose and lips, but her eyes were small, a female version of Clarence Hui Yuen. There was also a Pirated Kenix Kwok - Candy Yuen and Pirated Chrissie Chow - Winnie Ma who had a male driver in a luxurious car drop her off at the location. Winnie denied that the man was her boyfriend. Also, wearing all white Mandy Chung was ignoring all questions asked, very impolite. The 10 finalists will meet with the Media the day after tomorrow, and would be wearing clothing arranged by the organizers. A fashion show will be held as well. Hong Kong designer William Tang will be attending to examine the outfits that the contestants will be wearing. On June 24th through July 1st, the 10 finalist will be shooting on location at Hokkaido, Japan. The organizers and Chan Ka Yeung expressed that filming will take place in a few hot springs where the contestants will be in their swimwear. Arrangements for the contestants to obtain life experiences will also be included, they will be experience how to catch sea urchins and make sushi. As to the guests, they will consider inviting those who were once Miss Hong Kong, like Myolie Wu and Skye Chan. Speaking of the contestants qualities this year, Chan Ka Yeung expressed that they are OK, which also means that the judges took a lot of time to choose them. There was a reader who claimed that one of the finalists who was a flight attendant before by the name of Hilaire, she is very lazy, rude and had no manners towards the customers. Chan Ka Yeung expressed that he has not asked for an explanation from Hilaire yet. He felt that each contestant will have the opportunity to be attacked, anything could happen, so TVB will teach the contestants how to deal with the Media. 10 finalist???????? Or 10 first to go?????? In the past, I could choose the potential ones, but ....no way now.
Flames critiquel moment ~~~Critising top 10 contestants in alphabetical order~~~ Candy Yuen - Looks like I'll be starting this off with something decent. Ok to good looks, don't have the figure, dress and hairstyle makes her looks a bit like a 師奶... Carly Wong - If you have a bright monitor, you'll notice that the photo shows a bit light patch in the stomach region... well that factor mix with shape of her dress...I'll just show you what I think of her... Spoiler Esther Lam - Could this be one of Lucy's talked about people? [sarcasm]This year's Miss HK Pageant winner![/sarcasm] Germain Lee - Freshed out from the oven, yet not tasty at all Grace Cheng - Pirate Suki?!?!? What?!?! She looks nothing like Suki...also I think she has Strabismus or in a non scientific term "Cock eye" Hilaire - Spoiler I can't see a difference between these two But if you can spot a difference please report this to Phil from Melbourne, cos he's really interested. Mandy Chung - Been impolite won't score you any good marks... On a side note, is Myolie's hairstyle that convincing? Cos the front of Mandy's hair so reminds me of Myolie...get her into the industry, I think we'll be seeing another mushroom head... Mizuni Hung - Hacken Lee in Miss HK Pageant?!?!? No offence to Hacken Lee Ewwwwww...... Sandy Lau - For once, I have to agree on editors in saying she's pirated version of Bernic Liu in http://www.dramasian.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47642 But saying she looks like Pauline Yam?!?! I think its a hell no... Back on topic, even though you look like Bernice Liu, you don't look like a Miss HK Pageant Winnie Ma - PiratedChrissie Chow?!?! Where's the 32D??? To be honest, I have nothing bad to say about her, she's the best out of the whole group! Overall I expect the top 3 from these people are Winnie Ma, Candy Yuen and Grace Cheng/Mandy Chung(Judging this from her second pic in the spoiler) And omg...upper lip hair....what were the judges thinking?!?!
i don't want to see any of them in tvb dramas, they're horrible. what kind of criteria do they judge by? blindfolded?
