Mod the Wii

ANyone know if this is possible yet

 

I heard you cannot mod the system to play wii backups but I heard that there is a mod where u can play gamecube backups and VC games.

 

Why would you crack a 200$ system?

However, from deductive reasoning, If there are ROMS for Wii games, then there must be a special thing (a cracked Wii) to play those ROMS.

i dont know about that modchip is real or not, but the wiinja modchip just came out and bunch of people already buying it and try it out.

it allows u to play backups and ntsc-J the only catch is that the mod only works on Ntsc-U consoles and being in the uk that really sucks hopefully there be a pal mod chip soon

recently its been said that newer wiis dont support these modchips

 

can't wait for the modchips for the wii.

 

yeh the recent news suggest that there were different chips put in the 1st batch of wiis . so if i would wait till v2 of the mods come out

 

With the playstation I remember certain models couldn't be moded...I think it's too early to tell with the Wii (in regards to success rate)...

 

i heard in hk they are coming out with a boot disc.. how the dreamcast use to be

 

but you can dl the wii games online, so i think it works the mods

 

well ppl theres great news there is finally a mod chip that satisfies the need for playin wii backs no matter what region console u have

the mod is definitely out now, but a couple of my friends are having problems with the mods itself. i don't think they're ready enough just yet
