In a new move to help change the face of runway modeling, a panel of fashion and health experts in Britain have recommended that girls under age 16 be banned from the catwalk. The Model Health Inquiry board also says that older teenagers need chaperones and that there should be a restriction on drugs and smoking backstage. The restriction on girls under 16 is both to protect them from eating disorders since younger models are more vulnerable to anorexia and other disorders as well as to keep them from being sexually exploited. The concern is that girls who are 14 or 15 are often stomping down the runway in revealing and suggestive clothing. The panel also took a look at working conditions for models and recommended access to healthy food. The panel did not however recommend weighing the models. So the message here seems to be that it's fine to be thin, just be old enough to make the choice yourself. all those young models starving/overdosing themselves and dying prematurely. feel bad for all those parents who have to eugooglize at their funerals.
because he is my hero and i mention eugooglizing at the end.. which, if you have seen Zoolander, is very funny imho
