Agreed! It gets really dumb when they both start to measure up and belittle each other's English level of competence.
"Well, the Double Dumbass on you..." indeed, LOL... This just so reminded me of the scene from Star Trek 4, The Voyage Home, in which a backward time traveled Kirk is cursed out by a 20th century cab driver, to which he responds likewise but with a "double" as an antecedent, figuring it would be twice as effective, as he wasn't familiar with 20th century put downs.
