Director Ridley Scott is passing go and probably collecting more than $200 on this next film! He's set to make a big screen adaptation of Monopoly. He's been signed by Universal to bring the board game to theaters. And according to the Hollywood Reporter, Ridley will give the movie a futuristic edge. Maybe he should set it in present time, where people are trying to sell their version of Park Place because they can't afford their mortgage payments! Baltic Ave. here we come! Board game movies must be hot right now. We hear Michael Bay is producing a Ouija Board feature, and a film version of Battleship is also on the way.
