On Thursday, Aimee Chan’s (陳茵媺) manager announced that she has given birth to her third child with husband Moses Chan (陳豪). The couple greeted the press in front of the Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital (HKSH) the following afternoon to announce that Aimee has given birth to a baby girl! On the afternoon of April 29, the couple greeted approximately 30 reporters at the front of the HKSH to deliver their happy news. At the time, Moses had just returned from a long filming schedule for his new TVB drama, My Love from the Planet Meow <來自喵喵星的妳>, in Tai Po. The reporters requested Moses to kiss Aimee three times on the forehead, which he gladly did. The reporters cheered when Aimee announced that it’s a baby girl. Moses joked, “The betting odds were high, right?” The couple already have two sons Nathan and Lucas, born in 2013 and 2015 respectively. Admitting that they have finally succeeded in chasing a girl, Moses said, “To be able to have kids is already a gift from god. Now that we have a girl, god has definitely completed my life perfectly. I have one big happy family.” Their little princess, who they named Camilla, weighed a healthy 7.15 lbs at birth. According to Aimee, Camilla is a Latin name meaning royalty and free spirit. The couple have yet to choose a Chinese name for Camilla. “It’s a very suitable name for her. She’s a princess!” said Moses. Like her two older brothers, Camilla was born naturally. Moses said, “The baby really knows how to choose her time. The time she was born in was a lucky hour!” Aimee said Camilla has really long legs and arms, just like her father. When speaking about her experience in labor, Aimee said, “I did cry. Since it was my third I thought everything would be calmer, but I was still very nervous. But once I heard [Camilla] cry, my heart jumped with joy.” Upon hearing this, Moses kissed Aimee two more times on the forehead. Asking if it’s true that they will not be having any more children after Camilla, Aimee nodded. “After I rest some more, I can start work! I will make a comeback!” Moses added that he too will rest after My Love from the Planet Meow completes principal photography next month. “I’ll probably take a few weeks off,” he said. Is Camilla Aimee best Mother’s Day gift? “All my gifts from the past three years were great,” said Aimee. Asking Moses if he has purchased anything for Aimee for Mother’s Day, he said, “Not yet, but I will. We now have a queen, two princes, and a princess.
