Today, Moses Chan (陳豪) left for Toronto, Canada to prepare for his and wife Aimee Chan’s (陳茵媺) wedding banquet scheduled for July 17. Since getting married in June, Moses has been in high spirits but he remained vague about Aimee’s pregnancy. Recently, new rumors surfaced that the couple may be expecting twins. Moses was surprised by the reports and denied knowledge of the baby’s gender. He added that he and Aimee are unlikely to post photos of their upcoming celebrations and wish to maintain a low profile.

Moses was seen at the Hong Kong airport around 3:45 p.m. on July 15, accompanied by his manager and elder brother. Many airport employees and travelers surrounded Moses to ask for photos and to congratulate the actor on his recent marriage.

About banquet preparations, Moses said, “There is not much to prepare for. I am ready to be in a good mood.” When asked if he will be bringing any nourishment for Aimee, Moses said that there is no need to bring items from Hong Kong since they can purchase everything locally in Toronto. Reporters then asked if he is nervous. Moses joked, “I wasn’t nervous at first, but I am now after seeing all of you here. I was planning to quietly eat a meal [before the flight], and am shocked that so many people came to send me off… but I do feel very happy.”

Moses shared that he spoke to Aimee via phone the night before, and that she is doing well. He added that Aimee’s parents are caring for her every day and that his own family is already in Toronto.

Since he wants to keep the celebrations low profile, Moses did not reveal the length of his trip nor any details about the banquet. He hopes that his guests will enjoy the party, and shared that he and Aimee will not wear traditional Chinese wedding outfits, but will instead go for more casual styles.

Regarding recent reports that Aimee may be carrying twins, Moses laughed and said, “I don’t know. I didn’t get any notification. I am also curious and want to know. Will I accompany Aimee to doctor’s appointments? That will depend on the situation.” When asked if he will bring Aimee along when he returns to Hong Kong, Moses said simply, “We will see.”

Reporters then urged Moses to keep them informed about his return date and the baby’s gender, and asked him to post photos from the banquet. Moses thanked reporters for their concerns, but emphasized again that he wants to maintain a low profile. “If someone is able to snap a photo [and post it online], there is not much I can do. Personally, we have no plans to post any pictures on Weibo.”
