TVB's Anniversary Ceremony will be held this Saturday (11/17). Because of the popularity of "Dek Dek Dei" in "Heart of Greed", Moses Chan (who played the character) was predicted to win the award "Best Actor". However, in Moses' eyes, his worse competitors are not Raymond Lam and Kevin Cheng --- it is "King of Rating" Bobby Au-Yeung. Moses said that he always has confidence in himself. "I never pay attention to my competitors nor have a heart to doubt myself. I won't be stubborn about those things because it's destiny. Having the award in your heart is enough. You cannot get it from forcing." When talking about Raymond Lam, Moses complimented on him a lot: "Besides being a handsome guy, Raymond sang well and he improved a lot in acting. He can improve more in other things." When ask will Moses have pressure because people keep saying he has the best chance, he smiled and said, "I'd been working in entertainment for over 10 years, I know how to handle it. A long time ago I was nominated in Hong Kong Film Awards, I put many hopes in it but at the end they turn out to be disappointments. So right now I'm ok." Awards are important to actors. Moses describes "it" as a piece of candy. He said: "Award is like a piece of candy, is a courage for what you'd done. Of course people will give you a piece of candy when you did something good. But does receiving this candy means I'm successful? Receiving that piece of candy doesn't mean you're the the first in TVB. There is only 1 "FIRST" in the TVB, and it is Gallen Lo. Although being describe as the one who would most likely to win the award, Moses however thinks that Bobby Au-Yeung would win. He said: "No matter at acting or in life, Bobby is good at those. Also he had never win an award in that category (*NOTE: Bobby Au-Yeung actually won "Best Actor" for his role in "Witness To A Prosecution" at 2000), I think it's time for him to win." For "Best Actress", Moses thinks that Louise Li (Lee Sze Kei) is definitely going to win because of her role in "Heart of Greed" was just so amazing. "Heart of Greed 2" will start filming at the end of January next year. Moses isn't worry about viewers would make comparison of him. He said: "The scripts are important, although I didn't receive it yet, but I don't think I would play "Dek Dek Dei" again. Viewers will watch with enthusiasm if the role is unrevealed." [singtao]
