The two hot favorite TV King candidates Wayne Lai and Moses Chan were deliberately arranged to go against each other a few times at the TVB 43rd Anniversary Gala held last night. During the "CBML-NR Verbal Battle", they were rapping against each other. Moses had a satisfactory performance, while Wayne seemed strained in his performance, clearly losing the beat, but it's better than Pierre Ngo's dead air. Later, Wayne and Moses battle again during the "TV King Scene Battle", where the two switch roles. Wayne was 'Dak Dak Dei' from Heart of Greed, while Moses was 'Chai Gau' from Rosy Business. Wayne had to do a love scene with King Kong who was pretending to be 'Seung Joi Sum'. He was able to hold in his laughter to do the acting, clearly better than Moses, therefore wins back the battle. Towards the rumors that Moses is using a contract in exchange for an award, Wayne laughed: "Really? Don't tell me to exchange one! He's good, why not we each exchange a half... just kidding. I don't believe in 'contract exchange for an award'." Moses also denied: "There's still a few years before my contract with TVB expires, no one came to talk to me about extending the contract, I don't care about these gossips."
