I will never switch over either. Cause it seems too impractical. You can't really get any work done with it. It's like one of those things that you use once and put on the shelf.

  5. for a moment there, i thought the krunk master has double posted lol

yeh i wouldnt switch but its pretty nice for what it is!
was tempted to install it and have a go, but you have to install the software that allows the nice switching, and that requires that you know linux stuff...

believe it or not a few governments are making the move to open source...the majority of the major apps out there, there are open source alternatives and its alot cheaper...its a quiet revolution...

    ^ wooo revolution!

one thing i do like about ubuntu is you can use livecd(?) and to check it out before you install it, or even better use it to check your newly built pc works before installing an OS!

um kinda a lil 2 complicated. Maybe for them porn feen's which allows them to switch screen back and forth, so they don't get caught.

certainly love that cubed desktop feature and the icons bouncing around, but linux is too geeky for me... i'd never grasp the language for it

I've been contemplating loading Ubuntu on a old desktop I have because it's so sluggish with XP. Suppose to have much lower sys requirements, so I'll see how that goes... and I'm typing this on my Vista Home Premium Laptop... doh.

^ just burn the cd and boot from CD, therefore no need to install it before trying it out!

Runs a bit slow cause its on cd, not cause its slow :)
