i have downloaded this movie which the original file was "RMVB" and played it with "Real Player" and the movie worked fine. But then i wanted to burn it onto a VCD so i convert the "RMVB" file to "Avi" by using "WinAvi video converter" and also the Avi file worked fine as well. But then i had to split it into 2 parts with "VidSPlitter" because the movie was too big to fit onto a VCD. But then i tried to play the first part and second part of the movie and the audio was playing faster than the video..
(But i did use "Vidsplitter" before to split other "original" Avi file to 2 parts and played fine.)
So then i didn't burn the movie onto the VCD because the audio was out of place.

    Can anyone help me out?
    Thx

Why don't you use winavi and adjust the output size than you would not have to split it again. Try splitting the file at a different spot too.

this happens alot, probably the burning is too fast of a speed..data corruptions happens

  4. yea you should skip a few frames n try again. Like try to skip it till the next frame n then cut... otherwise the audio will get messed up if you split it in the middle of a frame.

or you can try other programs. splitters..

thanks i did try winavi to split them both and it did work But when i tried to use nero startsmart to make it into vcd the first part of the movie worked, and the second one couldn't be burned onto the vcd nero said "it was an unsupported format" but it was an avi file..

So i don't know why the first part i could burn and the second i couldn't
