For that past week, my family and I been preparing and moving to a new place. Some things really messed up our plans. First that stupid ass thick snow and windy storm, and it was cold too. So new furniture was delayed for a couple of days. I had everything set up but I had to wait for two days. Forced to do everything in two days, which I discovered, our family of four have tons of junk, so much junk!!! It was a headache just to throw things out. Back breaking and we inhale tons of dust. So annoyed and pissed cause my mom had this really heavy sewing machine from the 90s. This was made from steel/iron. She hadn't used it in ages. She just go to friends in the factories to do her sewing these days. We told her to just throw it away or give to away. But she wants it and my brother and I almost died from lifting it. So stressed out. Everything was so rushed. All that dust I inhale still bothers me. I'm just glad we are almost done.
Lol those machines, I got one at home my dad didn't want to throw it away either when we moved because it contains sedimental value Lifting that stuff is a nightmare! I know how you feel lol
people do say the longer you live at a house....the more junk you gain...coz junk just builds up over years... good luck..!..and hows it going so far...??
Indeed, we have been living at that place for just over 12 years and it was getting annoying, cause things were falling apart. A lot of junk just builds up over time. Most the things are done. But we have to arrange everything in the new place. I'll give it a few more days to clean things up. Had cooked the past few days. All takeouts or eat out. Toughest was clearing out all that junk. Found a lot of memories from the past. Old photos and other stuffs. ^^
for me it's the little things that takes the longest time. Like things in your draw. The worst is when you have move to a smaller place. Then you have to throw things out.
