My hamster gave birth to 5 babies

I'm so happy. Finally the day has come. My hamster (Daisy) gave birth to 5 beautiful babies yesterday. -clapclap -sorc
The babies are fine. They remain hairless, blind with thin protective covering over eyes. I could see tiny black claws and already started calling to each other in a special Squeaks.

My friend says that if you scare or shock the mother or something, it will eat the babies... so you have to be careful around them or something along those lines...

Thanks for the advise. Its true some hamsters they will eat their babies if their babies are sick, if mommy feel they are not capable of raising so many hammies also especially if one touches their babies and change its scent, she will think that they are not hers, abandon them and worst might even eat the babies . So I'm leaving them alone only approach the cage when necessary.

Would u believe if I tell you Hugo my cat is a chicken cat? He is afraid of my hamsters. Especially when they squeak he runs for his life.

He he... if you reside in Malaysia, Lazzie (the male) would love to impregnate your hamsters. He has a good temperament. Not afraid of humans , can pick him up anytime. Pst... he is on heat now. ( Currently living alone, had to separate him from mommy. Hamster could get pregnant again right after giving birth. Wouldn't what this to happen to Daisy. She deserves a rest. )

If they all survived, I only get to keep one for myself. The rest, 2 of my girlfriends wanted them.

Hamsters are cute and great entertainers. If you live in Malaysia I would love to give u a pair + free cage. WOW what an offer eh.

Daisy is the mother, me? I’m their grand mother. He he he I feel proud to be a grand mother and excited to see who resembles who.

To be actual its 21 days since mating. Some hamsters only 16 days.
