After leaving TVB, Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) is not short of work. Tabloids claimed that Myolie recently got married with entrepreneur Philip Lee in England. Replying simply to the rumors, Myolie said, “Why did I not know about this event myself? At this point, I don’t have anything to announce.” The reports further claimed that Myolie subsidized $2 million HKD in order to get married. Myolie joked, “That cheap? Just kidding! All in all, there are no such plans yet! I’m not responding anymore. This is written without basis and is not true.” When asked whether she would be willing to pay for the wedding in order to get married, Myolie said, “Why do I have to pay all of it? If someone is going to ask me to marry him, then he can pay for it!” In regards to Rosina Lin’s (林夏薇) surprise wedding this week, Myolie expressed her admiration. “Being able to hide it from the media is impressive The process was so secretive. It must have been a lot of hard work.” However, Myolie indicated that she would not hide her wedding due to the difficulty of keeping it a secret. Attending the birthday celebration event for the world’s only surviving giant panda triplets, Myolie expressed that this was her first time meeting the pandas in real life. “Seeing the pandas this time, I thought they were very cute.” She had asked to touch the pandas backstage, but was denied for protective reasons. Sometimes we need to take it with a pinch of salt what the gossip magazines/tabloids says. BTW her bridal boutique is opening very soon so if the wedding is just around the corner, she will not have any problem choosing the perfect wedding dress.
