After Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) was photographed kissing her new boyfriend Philip Lee in Taiwan last week, she finally admitted to her new romance. Meeting through mutual friends, it was love at first sight for the couple. Although they have been dating for only three months, Phil has reportedly proposed to Myolie. Taking a short break from filming a Mainland Chinese show, Myolie met with Phil in Taiwan on January 24 to attend his friend’s wedding. According to an insider, Phil was full of praises towards Myolie and introduced her to many of his friends at the wedding. Eager to settle down and become a family man, the 40-year-old has allegedly delighted Myolie with his marriage proposal. Phil formerly worked in the financial sector in London. Upon returning to Hong Kong, he established his own headhunting agency and is also one of the investors in nightclub, Play. Standing at six-feet tall, Phil previously dated Selena Li (李詩韻) for one year and was also linked to Miss Chinese International 2012, Kelly Cheung (張曦雯). Kissing on the Street In December, Myolie and Phil’s romance first came to light when they were spotted attending a charity gala together. To preserve their privacy, Myolie and Phil stated they were only friends attending the event together. However, Myolie seems to have let her guard down when she visited Taiwan last week. After attending a wedding, the couple went to a nightclub to continue partying. They returned back to the hotel in the early morning hours. On the second day, Myolie and Phil were seen dressed casually when they stepped outside of the hotel. After helping Myolie flag a taxi to the airport, Phil hugged and kissed her several times, apparently unwilling to say goodbye after their short reunion together. Myolie Confirms Dating News Responding to media inquiries over her new romance, Myolie said, “Yes, I’m currently dating. My boyfriend is great. Please don’t scare him away!” She promised to provide more details on her relationship when she returns to Hong Kong.
