After dating for 8 years, Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) and Bosco Wong’s (黃宗澤) breakup announcement shocked the public. As both parties did not disclose the reason for their split, many speculations arose with no concrete answers. Myolie addressed the breakup in a tearful interview in July. Soon after, she remained tight-lipped on the situation and chose to focus on filming. She hoped that the audience can focus on her work, and not on her personal relationship. Myolie’s New Short Haircut At yesterday’s promotional event for Ghetto Justice 2 <怒火街頭2>, Myolie appeared with a short cropped haircut. With the new image, was Myolie showing the world that she had let go of her relationship with Bosco? Myolie refuted the claims that she cut her hair because she was unhappy after the breakup. She clarified, “It is not related. The producer of Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲霄2> had requested me to cut my hair. As it took me a long time to grow out my hair previously, I debated whether I should cut it or not. My final decision was to cut my hair because I felt that the haircut suited the new character.” Wants to Concentrate on Work While many of her fans are concerned with her well-being, Myolie stressed that she is feeling well. She revealed, “I’m happy to be single. I want to enjoy this time.” She has been busy at work and her schedule was fully booked until the end of the year. Speaking about her views on love, Myolie said, “I will do some self-reflection and think carefully about my future plans. I am quite persistent in love and will do my best to save a relationship. However, this time it failed and ended in a separation. I feel that two people who were in a relationship before can still be friends.” Regarding Ghetto Justice 2 co-stars, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) and Christine Kuo’s (茍芸慧) love rumors, Myolie honestly said that she was not aware of it.
