Nancy Sit Rushed to the Hospital, Stops Work for 10 days Originally filming for the new series, Roots of Evil, Nancy Sit was now rushed to the hospital. Originally to film on the 21st of April the Hong Kong segment of the series before going to Dai Ma to film an outdoor scene to finish the series, now it is put on hold. "Finished eating, and then felt Pain" Nancy Sit's health has never been great, she origianlly had surgery of the gall bladder and intestines causing her to be sick. This time she has to stop for 10 days, as she is unable to do surgery instantly. Her children were unable to be with her but had called. While filming, Jamie Chik said, "One time I had ate soemthing and felt a stomach ache and I wasn't sure what to do. She told me to go to the hospital." Anita Yuen who found out about Nancy's rush to the hospital states, "Sister Nancy and i have many scenes together. She plays my mother and I hope she gets well soon. I dont think it will affect the filming schedule too much, we can film other scenes first. I called Nancy Sit but her assistant picked up. Just let her rest for now. Ray Lui stressed that Nancy Sit must take good care of ehrself and rest before resuming filming. It was unexpected and there has been no plans on what to do. I don't know about HK but in the US, there have found one particular chinese doctor who cut you up and then just rush to put everything back rather realign them - particularly the intestine ... when you have such surgery, not properly aligned can cause a lot of problems.
