In a breakthrough role in Midas <點金勝手>, Nancy Wu (胡定欣) forced a kiss on Kate Tsui (徐子珊). The women are in a love triangle with Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) in the series, and Nancy forced a kiss on Kate to determine if Kate was a lesbian. Despite the initial awkwardness, Nancy complimented Kate on her thick, kissable lips. It has been a slow but steady rise for Nancy since she joined the entertainment industry about 10 years ago. Often cast in small supporting roles, Nancy rose in prominence after her portrayal of a mute female boxer in Gloves Come Off <拳王> in 2012.
