Check the documentation on your router. From a quick scan, it doesn't support that feature.
You would need to go the way of an open source os for your router if it is supported.
Check out http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/index.php and a few others out there.

I had the same Problem with my housemates, I guess he is using something like BitTorrent. If yes then you need to tell him to set up his program. When he installed the program, it sets the download speed to unlimited, thats why he uses all the speed which is available on your network. You can ask him to limit his dl speed to a more decent speed, which allows other people to use the internet without problems. By the way, 1 Mbit with 8 sharers is not very efficient ^^ It´s about 12kb/s each.

^ yup .. i was going to say. there's only limited bandwidth coming through the line and it's being shared by 8 people. plus, how sure are you it's really 1mbps? did you check?

knocturnal idea works better than telling him to limit his upload/download speed. a QOS setup from those freeware might actually limit the amt of bandwidth he would be using for the bittorrent. it might take a little time to setup but the benefits will be felt immediately

id say if hes BTing, the upload bandwidth hes using is probably killing the line, but yeh 1mbit between 8 is not a lot at all...

i live in a house of 4 and we got 20mbit, sometimes thats not enough :D

If he is using torrents to download, close the ports of your router then

i dont think that he is using torrent...cause other are using torrent also...
but the dl speed is just zero point something kbps.....
but when we dl using direct dl...there r not much prblm..there stil got the speed of 20-30kbps..
    by the way,Knoctur_nal,
i dl the dd-wrt files, but dont know how 2use it...
is it just upgrade the router with the bin file?
and my router model is not on the list...
