So here we go, i bought some new cheap parts to build a pc and when everything assembled, its not booting so no bios ...i mean i dont hear a bip sound and the monitor isnt detecting anything!

    Here are the specs:

    PCChips A13G+ GeForce6100 Socket AM2 Motherboard
    AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Socket AM2 CPU
Maxtor 200GB EIDE HD 7200/8MB/ATA-133 Retail
Lite-ON 20X DVDRW SATA LH-20A1S-12 Int No SW OEM
Power Up Black ATX Mid-T Case w/450w & Clear Side
    CRUCIAL 1GB PC5300 DDR2 667MHZ
    CRUCIAL 2GB PC5300 DDR2 667MHZ
    Sunbeam Tuniq Tower 120 AM2 LGA775 S754 S939 S940 Heatpipe Cooler 120MM Blue LED Fan CPU Heatsink
Asus GeForce EN8600GTS Silent 256Mb PCIe Video Card, Retail

Okay, its not to discuss this sucks or is good but i chosed those parts cuz it was cheap. With the gas rising, i dont wanna spend too much money on a pc for games I dont play tongue.gif

Any hints or stuff I should look on to find out where is the prob?

I tried a few like connecting on onboard video settings since i thought it was power issue...but no.
I tried to connect 1 ram instead of 2 and its not working
I reconnected the wires many times so i dont think its that
DVD, heatsink, fans are all working...(and the rice glowing leds too)

Thx for the help and see u on NS with my old shitty working pc. lolz

*cough* motherboard problem probably..take it for a return and get any other mobo isntead of that.. maybe that should solve it.. either mobo or Power supply usually

try taking out the 1gb stick of ram and jus keep the 2gb stick in it
see if that works or put them in seperate channels
if nothing powering up, its because of either the psu or motherboard

  4. it's a brand new mobo.. i don't know why jump to conclusions with "OH ITS A MOBO PROBLEM"...

it could be of other problems, like plug and pin misplacement from the case controls to the mobo, because he did say there weren't any beeps...

it may be the mobo, but i'm not ready to discard the possibility yet.

If theres no beep, no fans go off, nothing

I suspect PSU problem, got another one lying around?

so i conclude its the mobo...i did that and nothing...i thought i didnt plug the mobo speaker but its plugged...so yeah PCCHIPS = Peace of crap. But I paid 40$ for it...so yeah doesnt worth returning it since i have to ship it back to PCHIPSUSA...

I guess ill go buy a Asus mobo and maybe a 600watt psu since the OCZ one is on sale...

thx every1, ill get back on this when it will be running!

try out Foxconn next time, they are cheap, yet great product, Dell uses them too!
