This is my first time collaborating with Steven Ma, whom I learned a lot from, especially in the areas of Chinese culture and language." Kenneth Ma plays a cameo role as a police officer. Kenneth praises "Brink of Law" for having a riveting plot. "I play Kate Tsui's elder brother in the series. During filming, I found the theme of off-track betting to be very interesting. Selling Point: Off-track betting has ruined the lives of many people, resulting in illegal loans, drug trafficking, arms possession, etc. In "Brink of Law," the main characters will use their determined spirit to break up the activities of horse-racing companies. The righteous Gao Yuen (Steven Ma) originally had a happy family. However his father committed suicide when it was discovered he was engaged in underground horse-racing gambling. Gao's good friend's specialty is to investigate cases involving horse-racing companies. However he discovers that there are mysteries weaved within mysteries. The results are shocking and life-threatening to all those involved. Gao changes his career direction and works in an apparel store. He discovers that the company's executive management may be implicated in his father and good friend's deaths. Gao turns to the police for help, but is requested by the police to remain in the company and act as an informer. Gao risks his own life in the investigation. Luckily his ex-girlfriend Wing (Bernice Liu) asists him in the case.
