The Continuing Saga of the Cadets:

In "Cadets on the Beat," Joey Yung's character is Cheung Nim Yan. She likes to meddle in other people's affairs, settle disputes, and promote peace. "At the police station, my job encompasses all issues involving human relations, such as discovery of a body, teenage riots, vehicle loss etc. My job duties fulfills my inquisitive nature."

Joey continued, "Although Ron Ng is involved with several female characters in the series, in the end he will choose to be with me."

Ng Yat Yin works in the PTU department. "My character's name is Kam Siu Bo. My character is obsessed with beauty and loves animals."

"My reason for joining the police force is due to a recruitment ad, which featured a policewoman in a trendy skirt uniform. So I applied to enter the police force, but realized the skirt uniform has been replaced by pants. Meeting Gao Ho Ching in the force, I admire his talent and dedication and consequently fall for him."

Selling Point:

Picking up the story where "The Academy" left off, the new cadets have graduated from their training classes and become police officers. In their new positions, the cadets have to face numerous challenges and responsibilities.

Plot Synopsis:

After completing 27 weeks of training, Ron Ng and Sammul Chan's characters have officially become police officers. Sammul is focused on getting promoted quickly and follows the rules closely. Sammul does not hope to break big cases, but rather wishes to steer clear of mishaps. He hopes to maintain a clean record to aid his promotion.

However, Ron's character believes that a good police officer should put in his greatest efforts to serve the public. A police officer should not back away even under dangerous circumstances.

Since Ron and Sammul's characters employ different tactics in handling matters, their relationship slowly disintegrates and results in discord.
