No. Sundin costs way too much money. No point in taking up all that cap space if we don't even have anyone for him to play with. It's better for both Sundin and the team if they were no longer associated with each other. Too bad Sundin isn't playing at all this season.
^ sundin mite make a comeback middle of season tho..and we need a loyal leaf because he is a good captain and a good leader...rite now its just a bunch of young guys with POTENTIAL but lack of EXPERIENCE....damnn leafs had a good start...1-0 and now 1-3
Kdotc, that's what happens when you get your hopes too high...LOL. Didn't know people in KC follow hockey? haha. Why wouldn't they consider Toskala for captain? I know he is a goalie and all but if Joseph was considered, why not Toskala? He might be our best this year...he'll need to stand on his head if they have any chance. Of all the canadian teams, montreal and calgary look pretty good...overall, I like Penguins and Red Wings.
^ that's because missouri state doesn't have a hockey team and i been followin leafs for a long time =) joseph and toskala both wouldn't b captains i dont think they're the best leader option....kaberle has most chance being captain since he's been serving as a leafs for a long time and blake im not sure about him being a leader and stajan no way can he be captain...leafs have a game next sat and sun at home...first time ever i think
of all the teams to choose from, you pick the leafs...LOL. kaberle would make a good option but communication may be problematic for him. maybe they should give out a couple of A's and let them earn it. so who do you like this year, aside from your leafs of course?

what the hell...you moved to kansas? lol no american would root for the leafs.. he was obviously a Torontonian my thoughts on the leafs so far: yes we have no one but at least were playing defensive mind hockey(or trying)...the new coach wants us to blocks puck and play hard d...if you don't you won't be on the ice...and the offense is alot faster....but we won't be scoring much this season but thats an obvious...at least were rebuilding which we should of done 2-3 years ago.
first, it's way too expensive to catch a game here. second, even if you can afford to go, there isn't any tickets...die hard fans in T.O. might try going down to buffalo or even pittsburgh this year to catch a game. i think you have a better chance of seeing them than me up here...is st. louis closest to you?
