AKB48’s sister unit, NMB48, held a press conference before their live concert at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL on June 4th, where they announced that they’ll be releasing their debut single, “Zetsumetsu Kurokami Shoujo“, on July 20th! The girls delighted their fans by promising that if NMB48 can not top Oricon’s weekly single chart, they will wear bloomers for their theater performance. However, if they do reach No.1 on the chart, NMB48 will receive rewards from comedians, such as “Black Mayonnaise” (comedian duo), “Football Hour“(comedian duo), and Yamasato Ryota from “Nankai Candies” (comedian duo). NMB48 is the group based in Namba, Osaka, and they made their theatre debut on New Year’s Day. Produced by Akimoto Yasushi, the group has 16 members in ‘Team N’ and 9 members as the research students. Two members of NMB48 - Yamamoto Sayaka and Watanabe Miyuki – landed in 25th and 34th place respectively on the preliminary results for AKB48’s third ‘Senbatsu General Election’. With regards to their debut single, “Zetsumetsu Kurokami Shoujo” was written by Akimoto Yasushi and composed by Iida Takehiko. It sings of girls’ black hair. Fans can choose from three different versions: two types of ‘regular edition’ which will include a CD and a DVD, and a ‘theater edition’ which only includes a CD. Source & Photo: MANTAN WEB, Tokyohive
