>>>> Original Link <<<< I just saw this headline on the Hk yahoo website.. anyone know about this? One of the Nokia battery apparently can explode (even original Nokia model). I own a N73 phone with this battery model. Anyone know if they are doing replacements in North America?
i'm sure if u go to a phone shop..they can help u check it out n give u a replacement if it needs to be changed... though i heard about this quite a while ago in the UK....
this news is a bit old...nokia had called for a safety replacement for some BL5C battery and its not all nokia battery's that has a problem, only some.. the way to check is by going on the nokia site and check or call up nokia and ask... phone shop is no good cos they dont know any fink cos it was the Manufactures fault...
nokia had made afew fualty battery that could lead to your phone exploding but they had called for a safety recall so its ok by now i suppose
i guess if u have one of their faulty batteries still u can get it replaced. u prob have to check a serial code or something on the battery to tell whether urs is fault or not.
i have that same phone, exactly same model and everything good job i stopped using it! i always find with nokia phones, their batteries die so easily- it's like u needa charge them every single night or else they'll be dead in the morning.
i think ur battery is either getting old or ur using one of the nokias which use up a lot of energy like the n95. the other ones should last a few days even if u use it a lot.
