it's not the first time that tvb has used the immigration department/customs as a background theme...there was 'A Matter of Customs' a couple of years back starring Lisa Wong, Wong He and Jessica Hsuan...
i thought it would be interesting to watch cases involving illegal immigration, but it's getting too draggy w/ the family problems in roger's family....especially w/ roger's wife. it's too disappointing to see the couple happy in the beginning, problem occurs, then probably later divorce so roger and yoyo would get together.
roger's wife is just really annoying to watch when she cries and tries to justify herself. I hate her voice
I like it so far. The casts are not so bad. Not perfect but ... it's ok. Storyline ok too. It's actually getting interesting. Some cliches. Good guy vs bad guy of course.
the series makes Roger's character look so bad. the fact that he doesnt have the guts to accept his wife's history, very wussy-like. im always asking WHY DID SHE HAVE TO LEAVE? WHY IS ROGER SUCH AN ASS. and the series is quite boring. the same stuff happens.
After 15 eps, still boring, might give it up, can't believe this was given a go ahead, another average show, Just one ep of A great way to care beats this, what a joke.
after 20 eps i find the series is more focused on family and friendship... the cases are not interesting at all.
How interesting can immigration cases be? The whole series was a stretch to begin with. What next? Sanitation workers or the ones who clean publics toilets? LOL... TVB is really reaching.
Just finish ep23 and things are starting to pick up, still it seem like so much time wasted till this point.
Totally agree, the series doesnt even have much police cases going on... and I really dont like Roger Kwok's wife...
Even if one looks at this series as a drama and not an investigative/police case series, focused more on family issues and relationships, it's still really slow. And it's been fairly predictable. Not one of TVB's best.
roger kwok's wife is cute, what's her name? she should be pushed into bigger roles since i seen her in a lot of previous series with minor roles
