hmm.. hackers are really impressive.. but not encouraged. Then again.. without them, who comes out with cracks? but I guess they really do cause a lot of trouble for companies...
I was never a serious hacker, I was a stupid script kiddie--IP nukes. But I think hackers help improve software/security.

hackers are there to prove that there are flaws in your security, the world needs more white hat hackers tho not black hat =P
*smack* don't pretend that you know what white hat, black hat, and gray hat if you dont know the difference -noclue White hat are those that hack to defend the freedom of internet (sort of like a saviour in the hacker community), they hack not for damage, but for repairing damage. The most famous white hat is the hacker that provides the patch to destroy Sony's DDR and closes the backdoors opened by DDR. Black hat are those that have only 1 goal, destroy. Famous black hat is 小榕 from mainland China. Gray hat are those that sits somewhere in the middle. There're also 2 types, aggressive and conservative. Aggressive actively seek targets to attack, whereas conservative don't attack ppl unless ppl mess with them.
i heard AOL always give you free month whenever you call to cancel. I have a friend that moves to a city for 3 mos for her rotation; and she didn't pay anything for internet at all. She kept calling wanting to cancel and they will give her free month.
