Do you need to use a special shampoo for oily hair? Do you have any recommendation? Thank you. I heard that washing your hair every other days is better for your hair then every day. But in my case, I have to wash my hair everyday because I have oily hair and at the end of the day my hair look like I haven't wash my hair for couple days.

humm... i would assume that washing your hair everyday is bad because your dry'n your hair out? and since you have oily hair that wouldn't be a problem

maybe use shampoo ment for oily hair and just shampoo daily with a good conditioner...

i can't really say much more than that cuz... i'm a guy and... really don't know much ^_^

i have oily hair as well...the best solution, dont use conditioner. Thats my personal opinion and quite frankly it aint to bad.

Give it ago. It might work :)

well..i say u have to use conditioner...since its the
scupt that brings out the oil...not the hair...so the
actual hair itself might get too dry or damaged...i
i say use a lito bit of conditioner...and do not use
HOT water to rinse off the conditioner...but warmish
cold water...that will help the sculp preventing
the oil hormones...and when ur washing ur hair...
massage it too....and like they sed use the
oily hair shampoo....and a special treatment
u can do to urself at night...masage ur head from the
back to the front...in circles...it works for some people...give it a try...

well to stop hair being oily (temporary treatment, not a cure) is to dye it =)
i always do that, since my hair goes oily ><

tho dying only lasts abt 2months, hair goes oily again
but dying hair too much is really bad for it, which means u gotta condition it too!
too much condition is bad, tho if u can avoid getting conditioner on to scalp as phyphy said, its good =)

also, choose shampoo's designed for oily hair, they do exist
don't know how well they work, cos i hafn't really noticed the difference
i just normally use palmolive naturals, and just pick the color i wanna use (rather than wat its designed for lol)
tho i remember purple is for colored hair! =P

some say to try using lemon juice on your hair
have tried it, kinda works too
basically lemon juice = acidic, drying out and killing the hair similar to wat dying does i feel....

If your hair is oily, make sure you wash it daily with a shampoo made for oily hair.

On the other hand, do not stimulate the scalp too much.
You may use shampoo and conditioner daily, but just avoid your scalp area.

try pert plus for oily hair i tried it. i think it works but your hair gets use to it so you gotta switch every now and then. same for any shampoo you should diff shampoo for every month. or don't use conditiioner or you can do 2 in 1

Yeah, warm/hot water opens up the [follicles?] and rinses out the oil and such. Cold water will seal in back up. -cool2

try to use dry shampoo when ur hair is oily. It helps to absorb the oil n create volume to the hair as well
