Opera 9.50 is now out. Don't be fooled that this is just a small update because they have called it version 9.50. In reality it is basically a new version as the previous version was 9.27. In this version they have changed the interface and added many new features. Java now loads much quicker and there is more compatiblity with websites. They also claim that the new version loads much quicker due to the new engine. I will let you decide upon that. For more information and pictures of the new browser go to www.opera.com. Anyway, the big question here is, can this top firefox 3 which is going to be released on Tuesday 17th June? Update: Having installed it, I do agree it is much faster to start up and load though it does seem to take quite a bit more ram than the previous version. I wonder how this fairs with the current firefox rc3 version out at the moment.
Opera 9.5 is way better than the previous versions, the design and the features are awesome. I personally use it over firefox 3
