i didn't think it was that weak have to watch some of the other nominees but as long as the wrestler wins something i'm happy. that movie is as good as everyone says maybe even better.

I don't understand the obsession with Benjamin Button. It was good movie, but no where close to Oscar good in any way. ESPECIALLY to give Brad Pitt a nod for best actor, but then again... He didn't have much competition getting onto the list.

As much as I loved Dark Knight and Wall-E, I had a feeling they would be snubbed since they're not your normal "Oscar" winners... just sucks how the focus is so heavily on Slumdog Millionaire this year =\

@Nas lol ya that's what made this list completely fail to me.

Wall-E is gonna get an oscar and so is the Dark Knight. Unless you're talking about Best Film. Then I think Wall-E should take the place of The Reader.

Yeah! Both films basically got snubbed for the big awards that everyone thought they would be nominated for, which sucks! No Nolan for best director as well? Ugh.... just hoping that Heath can get a posthumous Oscar for best supporting actor, but I'm thinking it'll be a guarantee he'll win since he already won Golden Globe/BAFTAs/SAGs
