I know this topic can go on for years but....who would u pick out of the two? I personally would pick ovechkin...yes crosby can make everyone around him better as of his play making skills....but a huge part of that is because of his ability to communicate with everyone else because he could speak english....Ovechkin on the other hand....is putting up almost the same amount of numbers on the stats sheet...just imagine he learns english
Crosby, because he brought more attention to the NHL, and let's be honest, not that many Americans watch hockey.
i'd say they play different roles... ovechkin is a pure scorer, amazing talent... crosby is a playmaker, passer... hard to compare the two... overall, i'd think crosby is better, but i like watching ovechkin's highlight-reel goals more
ovechkin this guy can score and bodycheck, while crosby is better to make passes and i prefer a player who can score more goals and has more talent than another one who has more points and who is more appreciated by fans yeah he's sid the kid, but i think that alexander the great is better, just my opinion
Crosby for his playmaking ability. This guy is gonna be very comparable to Gretzky when its all said and done, alas w/o the 200 pt seasons lol(those days r prob history). Hes a force on the ice and he makes everyone around him better.
