wat are your opinions on pan handling? weeks ago a member of a church in vancouver got attacked by a panhandler for giving the panhandlers $5 which apparently isn't enough..the panhandler beat the pastor up and it was CAUGHT on tape last week in torontoa man and his friend was approache by a few panhandler which concluded in a fight and then stab wounds then the death of a pedestrian..the pan handlers are in jail i never give money to these ppl and alway wonder y can't they just get a job or y the EFF did they choose to stay on the streets rather than home/family..... they smelll and are setting a bad image of toronto and are not making tourists welcoming....i hate it when they're at a store or subway holding the door for u and a sign...get a life!
dont hate ur own kind dude lol jks, yeah i hate the beggers and vagrants of society, its not really a problem where i live, but iv been to tons of big cities and beggers just fuken freak me out.. sleeping and eating in their own filth, its unhygenic and not necessary
It annoys me off even more when the panhandlers are not homeless, but rather just normal people (usually appears a bit trashy/rough, but doesn't seem to be homeless nevertheless). Has anyone ever bumped into the beggars that make up tragic stories to buy your sympathy for some change? I've had it happen to me a handful of times.. "my dying brother is in the hospital and I don't have enough to take the train there, can you please spare a couple dollars?!" or "I got fired from my job just now and need money to take the bus back home.." .. shiet, STFU already! Oh oh, and there was this other one.. "my girlfriend just dumped me and I don't got any money.. please help a brother out.."
i never give them money, i feel bad for them and all but i don't know their history and i'd rather give them something i know they will use, like coupons for the local homeless shelter/kitchen
Just yesterday some guy ask me for a dollar or two for some food, and he doesn't look anything like a hobo!!! WTF?!?! And there are some funny hobos rofl
WUAHAHHAHHAA.....panhandlers...thats a funny word i must say...never heard of that word and i was thinking of PANS *sorry for being such a dork * Anyway...i give them money sometimes when i feel bad for them.... not the normal ones who are walking and talkin some of them are actually really "chaam" :( they have some kinda handicap or somethin....
I have no pity for the young ones. Sorry not a penny for them. They should work instead choose to beg. The old or handicap , yes I would dig my purse. How much? that depend on my mood. I could be very generous at times. I hate those people who sort of marked car park area at night, where parking are free. Hate to say ten out of ten I would give them money just because worrying the might do something to my car.
yeah if the person is perfectly able why won't they get a jo..I don't usually give money to the normal ones...used to give to the disabled child and women but not anymore. too much scam lately...some merciless people even amputate the kids and push them out to beg for money..
i hate them bums. we have a problem with bums here in san francisco. i usually ignor them and if they try to talk back or approah me, me and my friends would just whoop their asses. one time a bum tried to start some shit with me and my friends, so we were about whoop his ass and then he pulls out a machety so we run back to my car to get some stuff. when we got back he was gone. another time a bum asked me for a quarter and i gave it to him because he said "i ain't gonna lie. can u give me a quater so i can go to a motel and have sex with my wife."
My city actually has by-laws against panhandling in certain areas, as well as aggressive pan-handling. Aggressive pan-handlers can actually be arrested and detained by authorities, and possibly fined. Agree with you there, with the fact that they just stand around and don't seem to be able to walk to a nearby restaurant or warehouse to get a job. Making minimum pay is definitely much better than being on the streets, harassing people. And ditto with kdotc, many are runaways from suburbs...
they're lucky people would even give them $5. the most i've ever given someone was a dollar. way to be ungrateful >.<
usually i just ignore panhandlers lol, if they made the wrong choice in life and ended up like this, when they could've made the right choice and made the society a better place, then it's entirely their fault, the only panhandlers i would feel sorry for are the people who are affected by something that they have no control over or they have no choice at all in the first place...
lol i should go around begging in my most expensive clothes and ask for money for school and investments for my stocks and bonds portfolio for the future. i wonder if more people would give me money doing something like that then if i were to beg in rags.... would be an interesting experiment
