Papaya Salad (Thai Style)

    u need green papaya (chop into strips), dry shrimps, peanut (chopped), garlic, little hot sauce, fish sauce, tomato. i donno last time i made it, i failed at it cause i used the wrong papaya T.T.

    I tried and I failed too:). It didn't taste like the one in Thai temple or restaurant.

    There are tons of how-to videos on Youtube.

    From the top of my head: shredded papaya, fish sauce, sugar, peppers, cherry tomatoes, mam nem (sorry, I don't know what it's called in English!), limes, and crab paste. For garnishing and to complement the dish: cabbage, noodles, peanuts. Thai style is supposed to be the sweeter version of the papaya salads.

    I've heard the hardest thing about making papaya salad is getting the proportioning of each ingredient right. Well, there isn't really a right proportion, just whatever you like.
