Fascinating film, Tom Tywker had done it again. While the original book was somewhat of a sensual stretch of unpleasantness, the film was beautiful in its own right. The cinematography is breath-taking, it is strangely erotic to see the orfactory organ at work visualised in the film. Highly dramatised, exciting, and at times gory. Add a splash of sensuality and you've got a high-wired drama like Perfume.
