Looks like the PS3 controller that we have all come to love so much (Yeah right) has been scrapped. The controller so often referred to as the 'Boomerang' is being scrapped in favor of a more sleek design according to some sources. The controller wasn't recieved too well by its own fan base, which has prompted sony to take a fresh look into the situation to see if they can come up with a better design which would be benificial to all, and just plain liked more by its core fans.... Again, details on the expected new design are under lock and key. They'll have to do a pretty good job on the design I'd expect as there have been many a concept design created by sonys fanbase which would be worthy of mass production themselves... Nice I wouldn't mind if they used the previous design, I thought it was the best design ever. If they could somehow modify it to enhance gameplay that'll be good. Perhaps add L + R triggers like the Xbox S controller, useful for racing games.
you probably wont be as eager to throw the damn when it's not boomerang shaped. I remember a cartoon strip with batman usin the ps3 controller -lol. i was freakin rofl after seein it. i kinda like the nintendo controller as well... go crazy with it playin a ninja game.
