    OK...i am not sure whether i post it in the right place or not..
    but here ...i need help
    my friends have started this one month ago...
    this is sth called
    Folding@home

    it is to help understand protein folding, misfolding, and related diseases ....
    and i created a team just today..
    if anyone wanna join juz tell me

    I already do. I donate to the sick kids hospital at Toronto. Might not be much considering I'm a a High School student, but my Dad pitches in to.

    Anyways! I don't know these people, so why would I give them money? I rather donate my money and KNOW that its being put to good use. Unlike this site, where I don't know wtf is going on at their end.

    i believe there is a version of this that would use ur screen saver/computers idle time...other than seti that is.

    Your FRIEND did not STARTED Folding@home, he/she simply started donating his/her idle computer capacity to that project from THE Stanford.

    okook, i'll try and see if my pc is willing to join..
    I'll talk to the electrical company and see whether they are willing to subsidise my electic bill if not im turing off my pc.

    Your better off running this, then the thing that looks for extra terrestrial life that seems so popular, cause at least this can actually help the human race

    i would help out, but whenever im not using my comp, its usually off...

    if anyone has a PS3, you can fold on it, for some reason the PS3s CPU can process mega amounts of this stuff, a lot more than any normal - high end ish comp can
