or will it require something more?

  2. ofcourse it will work on the monitor

all you have to worry about is the response time, you have 5ms which is good, if you want my advice then buy a Samsung LCD, they are the best when it comes to TN technology, plus i have 2ms

it has HDMI so that will be fine, however I dont believe the monitor has speakers, so you will need a sound system with a digital optical input

  4. Just get a Logitech Z550 and blow the house down

  5. yup.. its kickin' with the z550! just get a DVI-HMDI cable n youre good to go

^that looks good, looking at the connectivity spec it says it has stereo audio output. Prob be able to plug your speakers in, but with what connectors i do not know

But to be sure before buying such an expensive monitor, call/email dell or google it and see what people have said

  8. Word of warning....... Dell are known for exaggerating their monitor response times 6ms is pushing it as in reality its gona be more

Unless you are a proper videophile, I doubt you will notice it enough to bother you

yes it will work, plug your ps3 DVI output into Monitor input

check if your monitor have speakers, if not you might have to get speakers with the red white yellow cords so you can connect from ps3 to the speakers

  12. maybe, im used to 2ms response time so i really notice it, i remember playing Forza 2 on a 19" samsung TV (not PC LCD) and i couldnt see the corners cus of the crap response times

^the worst i ever see is a bit of ghosting for the darker colours and thats on GTA4. Games like GRID, Motorstorm II, I never notice a thing, things happen to quickly to notice...

  14. yea don't rely on the speakers from the monitor.. get an optical cable n plug it into a nice stereo system.
