Yeah, from the title you can probably guess it's a morbid poem... . I wrote this back in grade 9, and edited it not too long ago... for class... haha. Needed to write a poem, too lazy to write one, so I just took this one... . Yeah... back then I was a bit of a tomboy, and liked horror movies and what not... so this just popped into my head. Gone Forever The metal shimmers in the light Like the blood on her wrist. A thin line of red, A torrent of blood begins to flow. Slowing creeping down her fingertips, Dripping onto the cold, grey pavement. One drop at a time… One on top of another… Ripples swim in the tiny outward puddle She winces in pain. Large transparent tears roll down her cheeks. Mixing into a crimson red. I stare in shock. Unsure of what to do. Wanting to take her pain away, Wipe the tears off her face. Slowly, I walk toward her, Her hands red with blood. I reach for her, only to be pushed away, Screaming, “Leave me alone!” I back away, bloody handprint on my shirt. I turn and walk away. Leaving her. Crying. Alone. I hear her cries, but continue ahead. Tears soak my face. After 10 steps, I turn to see, Her body on the ground. Puddles of blood like red seas around her. Her eyes; hollow. Her mouth; ajar. I’ve lost her. Forever. Yep... there it is. Hope you liked?
