£5 buy in winners takes all with about 8 ppl Also use to play during lunch break at college with £3 bank, ante at 5p and 10p. Not winner takes all, but see how much you end up with at the end. Re buys allowed after u lose ur £3. That capped so ppl cant be overly aggressive. Was good won lots of lunch money then

i play poker every sunday with friends and i sometimes play online (pokerstars.com) we usually play £5 to £10 each, no re-buys. if im playing online i play $5 dollar tournements. closest i ever got was 16th place :(. takes alot of patience and effort :(

i used to play texam hold em with friends and we put £1 each time into the pot and whoever gets all the chips in each round wins the pot. (usually quite quick because some idiot goes all in and everyone follows so you lose whether you follow or not)
we had a different rule... if you lose all your chips and you want to buy in then you have to pay £2 for the same amount of chips you get in the beginning i think i won like £28 once
lol that's mean... double buy in for losing period... wow... but that does keep the bets reasonable... and less all ins i suppose...
