Tuesday October 10, 2006 Hong Kong Police Ask Reporters to Find Ella Koon Ella Koon, who had a kiss forced on her by a stranger on Mid-Autumn Festival while she was performing, immediately called the police after the incident. Due to the media focusing on the case, the police force has labelled the case important. Yesterday, when the police requested to question the singer about the incident, Ella did not turn up and so, the police were forced to call the Oriental Daily Newspaper to search for the singer. On the night of the incident, Ella went to the police station to report the issue and was questioned for over 2 hours. The 24-year-old young man was then officially charged for assault in the morning. But Ella who has not fully recovered from the traumatic incident and her busy schedule, police have found it hard to contact with her. The police know that Ella will be leaving Hong Kong soon and because the case will go to the courts on Friday, they need to record an official document of Ella’s views on the incident. When reporters approached Ella yesterday as she boarded her company’s car, surprised, she said, “What? The police told you guys to notify me? I don’t understand…” After further explaining by the reporters, her puzzled face lightened up and she replied, “O… Ok, thanks!” It has been disclosed that Ella will not have to go to the court when the case is handed up to the courts on Friday but she will have to appear at the courts at a later date as a witness to tell her account of the incident. credits: hkyahoo, asianfanatics.
