    Don't worry this is just a drill. Men how irresponsible, using the citizens as life guinea pigs :puke:

    that's so mean...:no:
    if it was a drill, shouldn't they at least let the bank know about it too...? ==;

    If they could afford bank robbers as actors.. why not people inside the bank as actors too..?

    I think it's a good idea that polices get such type of training but anything can happen in a second notice. Without proper drill to get the officers up to speed, criminals can easily get away. However, I do agree that people can get hurt with such an un-informed training - from the actor (could've been shot) to the people at the bank (traumatized or whatever). Glad things went well; at least now, the people of Zhenzhou know that polices are in good position when something like this occurs again in the future.

    While training is a laudable goal, to artificially produce a dangerous situation, one in which the trainers have no real control, seriously negates the stated purpose of education, and instead creates a genuine hazard for its participants and the public. IMHO, the trainers themselves are in serious need of training... handoff1

    LOL... Actually, the next time a cop has to shoot, he may hesitate because he thinks that it may only be a training exercise... That is going to be the long term residual effect of this unplanned event.

    Sounds like a pretty good drill, it's a great way to test people or whatever but.. at least let them know.

    This is awesome, have you ever heard a fire alarm and went "oh it's just a drill" and then just sat around?

    This type of thing keeps them on their toes!

    Er... yes, as a matter of fact, people do that sorta shit all the time... :shifty:

    Now imagine if a "Hero" cop shot and killed one of those "robbers" who is then later found out to be just an actor in this elaborate training event; with pictures and videos of the wife and child crying at the funeral asking why was he killed? Boy... wouldn't THAT be a great training exercise for public officials? That oughta keep 'em on their toes, right? LOL...

    Seriously, it was a stupid exercise that endangered the lives of everyone involved, from the actors to the general public, to the officers who were probably rushing to the scene (and may have died in a traffic accident), and even to the officials who organized this fiasco (who may have had their careers cut short if anything did happen to anyone). There are many ways to ensure that public safety officials do their jobs well; this unfortunately, ain't one of them. :laugh:

    This is so stupid, what if there was an off duty police officer in the bank, and they tried to stop the robbery. Someone could've really gotten serious injured.

  12. as harsh as it sounds to the public... it did display the abilities of the police force.....

    but of course at the fact it was so unorthodox..... and may have caused many many psychological effects within the mind of the citizen... this was not the price to pay for a training exercise....
