portable HD

    Hi,

    I see some portable HD for sale for about 70 uds with 120 to 160 GB.
    any suggestion on what's good and what's bad?

    Western Digital would be a good brand. Recommended to stay away from I/Omagic since i personally had a very bad experience with their product.

    portable comes in the 2'5 format which is really portable and also in the 3'5 which is a desktop sized drive in an external enclosure and people sometimes refer to that as portable.
