Pissed off because you have to use ebuddy or webmessenger on a public computer? As long as that compuer has USB, then you can use this portable MSN Live Messenger by saving it to your USB. No installation required, simply run. EDIT: I uploaded the latest version of MSN Live Messenger Lite. The download link below has changed. It is good when computers blocked you from going to webmessenger. So many of UT at Scarborough ppl are pissed off becz the admin blocked access to webmessenger. The admin also blocked all incoming/outgoing emails to/from facebook on the UTSC email so everyone has to switch to UT email to register on facebook now.
MSN WEB Messenger is the solution to Road-Warriors who use public computer where the program might not be installed. Here is the link: http://webmessenger.msn.com/ You don't need to have anything installed in the host computer. Best of all you don't need to have a USB stick.
y bother with msn wen ur on a public computer.... u'd only use a public one wen u need to grab something urgently or something neway... if ur at friends or work or uni, u'd just use the normal msn messenger thats installed =)
^some people cant live without msn lol... maybe there doing work in the library on a public comp -shrug
it says Hidden Block (0 post(s) are required, you have 168): so it is something else that stops you from seeing it.
In a way, im on 3 network on my mobile phone so it comes with a msn which you can use till the end of this year. Works like texting but theres no pictures or anything and you cant multichat >_< very limited but at least its something on the go
I want to punch that admin in the guts... I'm also pissed off at creating a UTorid. Pardon me for explaining to those that don't know what UTorid is. I don't want to confuse them in this conversation. Utorid is for making a UT email. My full name is Andrew Leung and we all know that this is a typical asian name. When I try "andrew.leung@utoronto.ca", it says "sorry, it's in use." Ok, so then it suggest me to use "a.leung@utoronto.ca", the system tells me "sorry, it's in use." My friend suggested me to do this: "andrew.c.leung@utoronto.ca" because she did that before and it worked. I tried and it says "sorry, please use only lowercase letters" WTF. Is the programmer stupid? How can you not know that asian names are bound to repeat, especially when this system is designed for 3 campuses. I can say that even in 1 campus there will be a person that shares same first & last name as me. How can the programmer not see this before. SoulJai, I know this block because I asked those ppl on B-Wing 4th floor directly and they gave me an answer.
@UT students: Try the mac... apparently the Mac labs can run webmessenger... (it's running on mine RIGHT NOW) Another reason to love the Mac (those tech people have less restrictions posted on the Macs somehow...)
^ correction hiake, UTSC and UTSG students -lol UTM students are fine, cuz these problems dont exist there
