Rite... after my hacking ordeal (thanks for the support guys ) i find that i need to buy something online (NOT through ebay >.<) but i realise i aint got enough cash in my bank to pay for the item, so i get up in the morning go to the town and put enough cash in my account to pay for what im after. i go back home start adding the items into my shopping basket then............ ludicrous postage charges (£6.50)!!!!, now my bank is about £1 short of what i need. now i gota go all the way back into the town and put more money in, ill put in a fiver, if i put a £1 in ill look stupid lolz. oh well, hopefully the bus will come quickly. moral or the story, make sure you know how much your gona have to spend INCLUDING postage charges. Rant over.
^ hey i buy online loads >.< but i did forget to add postage but i never guesstimate it to be as high as it was, after all, i was about £1 short, it wouldnt have been bad if i never have to go all the way back to the bank.... well my stuff has come now and im happy with it.
no way, credit cards are trouble, especially as im a student.. i got a debit card, like credit card but no debt aww, i doubt they would deliver to England for free
well if u do have self control and know wat ur doing, credit card is the way to go =) u get reward points and 2 months free (there abts) interest, which u could b earning interest from the bank b4 u pay the credit off then of course, sometimes u forget and u look at the bill and go >.<
generally postage is around $15+ depending what you buy.., and which place was looking at camera and gadgets, and thats $30 regardless how big/small it is ><
Did you guys ever buy a memorycard from amazon.co.uk? I boughta 1GB memory card for 2,99GBP and have to pay 4,98GBP for postage! Ok, I thought it would be better if I buy 2 memory cards instead of one, because thats so stupid with the postage. So I added another and suprise suprise!!! Postage fee now is 7,98GBP!!! For people who don´t know the size of a memory card includes it´s box, like a little bit thicker normal letter!
hahaha when i got my mem stick from amazon i got my Samsung mp3 player at the same time so the postage was ok.
reminder, its useless to get express with registered post!! do one or the other, not both! (unless u really want to hehehe) both express and registered have tracking numbers all mail has insurance (to a certain level) but if u want extra insurance, u need registered either way, if u can avoid auspost =P i choose all possible alternatives to them ahhaah only cos i've worked inside... lol
