i have downloaded a movie which is in Rar format and i used hjsplit to join the files together and the file says its winrar achive.. but i don't know what to do next? i tried to open it with winrar it says "Enter password for the encrypted file" and i did but it says "Wrong password" but i rememberd that i created one.. Any help thx
If it has lots of rar file DONT use hjsplit to join that will completely screw up the files (i hope u havent deleted the original as backup) i explained how to deal with these things here http://www.dramasian.com/showthread.php?t=7226
rar files are zipped files, which are compressed, therefore can't be joined. They need to be uncompressed before joining.
Are the files split by WinRAR or HJSplit? If it's done with WinRAR, you put all the split files in one folder and then right click on one of the file to extract it. If it's done with HJSplit, then you will have to combine it with HJSplit. But still I don't understand why someone would compress it in WinRAR and then split it with HJSplit. WinRAR can compress it into separate smaller files. -confused
