In order to equip the hosts for the 2008 Olympic Games with the skills and knowledge they need to give the best coverage, a special professional training course has been launched for the hosts and reporters to attend. The course was opened by Legislative Council member representing Sports, Performing Arts, Culture and Publication, Mr Timothy Fok JP (霍震霆), yesterday. Over twenty artistes and reporters from TVB will be participating in the course, including Carol Cheng (鄭裕玲), Shirley Yeung (楊思琦), Wong Yi Hing (王貽興), Amy Tsang (曾愛媚), Charles Szeto (司徒瑞祈) and Anna Yau (丘凱敏). Carol was asked about recent reports that Liza Wang (汪明荃) was being rude to her during the TVB anniversary show, she denied this and said that it was just the reporters trying to find a story from a photograph in order to create some controversy. She added that this had made Liza extremely angry as a result. There have also been reports that Yi Hing has split up from former Miss Hong Kong contestant Amy and is now dating an air hostess. At the event, Amy seemed to avoid Yi Hing and refused to answer any questions about their relationship, saying that she had to prepare for class.
