lol psx games: crash 2-3 ( 1 was boring) die hard trilogy (i got the gun haha) final fantasy 8/9 (don't have 7) legend of dragoon twisted metal 4 (liked the music back then) WWF Attitude (most addicted game ever) SmackDown 2 (best wrestling game ever made)\ Metal Gear Solid Spyro the Dragon Tekken 1-3 Battle Arena Toshinden Ridge Racer (The first one ever, yes got to play right when playstation came out, they still had the dvd size plastic/paper boxes) Doom 1/2, Final Doom Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 (spider man ftw!) Can't think of others. most of these i listed aren't actually classics.
suikoden 3? noway. after number 2 the suikodens have been going downhill. hope the new one for the psp is actually good this time...
The new Suikoden is on the DS not the PSP, and Suikoden 3 was awesome imo espcially how they split the story between four characters and how you can stack Hugo on the gryphon. Unlike the first two game, the main character seemed to have his own personality as opposed to the Riou, and Tir who seemed to be those silent main character. The ending boss was a cake walk though, but still the story was good. Suikoden 4 sucked, and 5 was pretty decent.
Wow i forgot about that game, i loved die hard trilogy, i played the demo more than some of my full games.
Ring of Red and the Metal Gear Solids for PS2 were pretty good, everyone above has mentioned the other great ps2 games already so no point making another list Anyone remember Bishi-Bashi and Futurecop: LAPD for the PSX? Those were superb multiplayer games back in ye olde days.
dont kno if it can be considered a "classic" but it is a ps2 game...Marvel vs. Capcom 2, great game huge pricetag also.
ICO is a complete classic that only a few people have ever played, i used to work for Sony so i got this game long before it came out, i witnessed this game turn two normal adults into ico addicts!!! Yeah awsome game, i managed to get a perfectly unscratched disk off ebay, cost a lot cus its ultra rare with only a few copies in existence due to the whole copyright fiasco, especially for the PS2 version. i got my one put away as its a classic.
i remember star ocean second story that game is still the best rpg i've ever played cant wait til they release a version on psp
suikoden 5 was actually pretty good...it went back to it roots... Final fantasy remakes, chrono trigger on PSX, chrono crusade, vandal hearts
